Evesham opticians raise £130 with charity Christmas hamper raffle

AN EVESHAM opticians celebrated its 30th anniversary last week, raising more than £100 for charity with a Christmas hamper raffle.

To mark the special occasion, the team at Specsavers on Bridge Street presented a lucky winner with a Fortnum & Mason Christmas hamper.

The total proceeds of £130 from the raffle were donated to the Vale of Evesham Community First Responders.

“Celebrating our 30th anniversary was a huge milestone,” said Anna Blyth, store director at Specsavers Evesham which is independently owned and managed.

“Thanks to the incredible support for our raffle, we’re thrilled to be able to make a donation to the Vale of Evesham Community First Responders.

“It’s important that we give back to the community that has supported us for the past three decades.”




Vale of Evesham Community First Responders are a team of volunteers who provide life-saving interventions in Evesham, Pershore, Broadway and the surrounding villages.

Working in partnership with the West Midlands Ambulance Service, they receive training to allow them to offer emergency medical care until the professional Ambulance Service arrives on scene.
