EVESHAM United ended a run of three games without a win with a 3-0 home victory against struggling Taunton Town.
Goals from Josh Barlow, Levi Steele and Liam Hutt sealed a comfortable victory for Mike Ford’s side at the Spiers and Hartwell Stadium.
And the result means Evesham sit 11th in the Southern League Premier South table.
Evesham broke the deadlock on 27 minutes when Barlow placed a precise shot into the bottom left corner from the edge of the penalty area after Taunton failed to properly clear Owen Foye’s cross.
And the Robins doubled their lead just two minutes later as Steele held off a defender and confidently found the bottom left corner from Barlow’s lofted pass.
The home side sealed the points in first-half injury time when Andre Wright released Hutt and the latter burst into the box before finding the left corner of the net.
Evesham are next in action against Basingstoke Town on Saturday, December 20 with kick-off at 3pm at Winklebury Way.
