PERSHORE Town are offering free entry to spectators for their weekend home fixture if supporters donate an item of food to the Pershore Community Cupboard.
The Plums host Cinderford Town in the Hellenic League Premier Division at the That Carpet Place Community Stadium on Saturday, November 22 with kick-off at 3pm.
And the club have teamed up with the Pershore Community Cupboard for the fixture.
Pershore Community Cupboard, based in Pershore Baptist Church, aim to reduce food waste by providing food for the local community.
The Community Cupboard have provided Pershore Town FC with a list of food items required to help families in the run up to Christmas.
The list includes tinned goods such as baked beans, soup, kidney beans, chickpeas, other beans and tomatoes.
Other food products including vegetables, such as peas and carrots, meat, fish, fruit, rice pudding, custard and UHT milk are also on the list.
Dried food is also welcome including rice, pasta, cereal, tea, coffee and sugar.
The club are asking for supporters to bring along any of the food items listed with them to the fixture in exchange for a free match ticket.
