A MALE was arrested in Evesham town centre on Thursday (September 25) for not turning up at court.
The 42-year-old was apprehended on two counts of failure to appear (FTA) and remanded in custody to be brought before the first available court.
An FTA warrant is an arrest warrant issued during criminal proceedings when a defendant fails to appear in court.
It is an offence for which defendants can be punished with a fine or prison sentence.
