THREE women have been arrested on suspicion of drug dealing after police pulled over a suspect vehicle near Peopleton.
A car was stopped by West Mercia Police in the Egdon Lane area just after midnight this morning (Monday, September 1) and a large quantity of suspected class A drugs were located nearby.
Three women, all in their 40s were arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply – class A crack cocaine.
The driver was further arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
Officers had been alerted to a car suspected to be linked to drug dealing travelling into the county from the West Midlands area just after 11pm last night (Sunday, August 31).
All three are currently in police custody.
