A MAN has been arrested in Evesham on suspicion of a string of offences relating to theft and assault.
West Mercia Police’s Evesham town centre team arrested a 40-year-old male on Tuesday (July 22) on suspicion of two thefts, one attempted theft and an assault.
This is in relation to shoplifting offences in Evesham Town Centre. The suspect was remanded to appear in court later today (July 23).
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “We will continue to work closely with our retail premises and robustly deal with persons committing offences.”
