50-year-old man arrested on suspicion of dealing heroin after Evesham raid

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drug dealing in Evesham after police raided a property this morning (Monday, June 9).

Officers swooped on the house in Gisborne Gardens around 6.30am based on intelligence gathered in relation to suspected dealing from the property.

Around £500 cash, a quantity of class A drugs, multiple mobile phones and weighing scales were seized as evidence.

A 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply heroin and is helping police with their enquiries.

The operation was organised by PC Ellie Roissetter supported by colleagues from Evesham patrol D shift and Droitwich and Pershore Safer Neighbourhood Team.

Police Sergeant Juliet Jeffrey, of Evesham Patrol’s D Shift, said: “Today’s warrant was executed in thanks to intelligence gathered by PC Roissetter in response to community concerns over suspected drug dealing at the address.




“Cash, drugs, multiple mobile phones and weighing scales were seized and a man aged 50 has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs – heroin. He is now helping us with our investigation.

“We hope this operation shows we will always act on information given to us around suspected drug dealing and act where appropriate.”
