A MAN in Evesham has suffered a series of assaults on the same day recently prompting a police appeal for information.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was punched, kicked and also glassed by a woman in her 20s outside Valkyrie bar on Market Square between 6pm and 7pm on Sunday, March 2.
The man sustained a cut to his eyebrow after being struck by the glass.
Later that evening, the victim was approached from behind by a male in his 20s who dragged him to the floor outside The Old Swanne Inn on High Street at around 8.30pm. The victim was punched and kicked several times during the second incident.
He sustained significant bruising to his entire body, sore ribs and a swollen black eye as well as the cut to his eyebrow because of the two assaults but was not taken to hospital.
The incident’s investigating officer is West Mercia police constable Eve Marshall.
