MULTIPLE reports of counterfeit bank notes circulating in Pershore have been confirmed by police.
Two reports of the fraudulent notes being used to purchase items in businesses have been issued to local officers this week.
The notes (pictured) were discoloured, had raised holographs and the print rubbed off easily in places.
West Mercia Police’s Pershore Safer Neighbourhood Team have asked businesses and residents to be vigilant when checking bank notes.
Any suspicions of fraudulent notes should be reported to police via 101.
