TOBY Raison netted a late double as Evesham United beat Cribbs 2-0 to close the gap on league leaders Yate Town to three points.
Raison scored two late goals at the Spiers and Hartwell Stadium at the Robins claimed a fourth straight victory.
The result means Evesham sit second on the Southern League Division One South table, just three points behind league leaders Yate.
Evesham eventually broke the deadlock on 78 minutes when Raison rose highest to head in a corner from the right.
And Raison sealed the points six minutes later after finishing from close range at the second attempt following a scramble in the box.
Evesham are next in action against Tavistock AFC on Saturday, March 29 with kick-off at 3pm at Langsford Park.
