A MULTICULTURAL celebration of food, music and entertainment from around the world is set to take place in Evesham this May.
This is Us, aims to showcase the food and culture of the different communities living in the Vale to promote friendship, understanding and social cohesion.
The event is set to take place at Wallace House Community Centre on May 10.
From Indian dancing to Polish dumplings – organisers are looking for people to get involved, and demonstrate their speciality be that art, music or food.
Sarah Green, deputy manager of Wallace House, said: “We want to break down barriers, unite our community and showcase our brilliant community centre.”
Wallace House Community Centre in Oat Street offers a diverse programme of activities for all ages from sport and leisure pursuits to educational and support events to enable the community to learn new skills.
It also houses a sports hall, meeting rooms and is the base for a variety of community groups.
