REEGAN Messenger scored a late equaliser as Evesham United rescued a late point in a 1-1 draw away at Helston Athletic.
Messenger scored nine minutes from time to draw the visitors level after Thomas Payne opened the scoring for the home side at Kellaway Park.
The result means the Robins sit second in the Southern League Division One South table, nine points behind leaders Yate Town who have a game in-hand.
Evesham are next in action against table toppers Yate on Saturday, March 8 with kick-off at 3pm at the Spiers and Hartwell Stadium.
