Dogs Trust Evesham offers free talks to local community groups

Evesham Editorial 20th Jan, 2025   0

Dogs Trust Evesham is offering free talks into the organisation’s vital work with the dogs in its care to adult community and social groups.

The talks are delivered by supporter relations officer Callum Stackhouse and provide a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes and learn all about what happens every day at the charity’s rehoming centre in Wickhamford.

Attendees will learn about the centre’s daily operations, ongoing projects, and the wide range of opportunities members of the public have to get involved. This could be anything from dog walking to foster caring.

The free sessions, which last between 45 to 60 minutes, can be scheduled at times to suit each group’s needs and will finish with a Q&A session.

Additionally, Callum can arrange guided tours of the rehoming centre for those who would like them. These tours allow visitors to see the facilities first-hand and learn how the centre operates to support dogs in need.

Callum said: “These talks are a wonderful way for us to connect with our community and share the incredible work we do for dogs every day. I love being able to take people behind the scenes and highlight the heart of our organisation.

“Whether it’s learning about our rehoming efforts, exploring our services for dog owners, or simply gaining a better understanding of what we stand for, there’s always something new to discover.

“It’s a privilege to meet so many people who care about animal welfare, and I’m always happy to tailor the experience to suit each group. Whether it’s a talk or a tour, my goal is to leave attendees inspired and informed about our vital work.”
