A MAN has been taken to hospital in a critical condition following a serious crash in Evesham this morning (Friday, December 13).
The man, who was driving a lorry, was involved in a collision with a van and a tree at around 8am at the junction of Poden Lane and Mickleton Road, Honeybourne.
He was treated with specialist trauma care from West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) before being rushed to the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
Crews assessed a second man who was a passenger in the lorry, before discharging him at the scene.
In attendance on behalf of emergency services were two paramedic officers, WMAS Hazardous Area Response Team, the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care car from Strensham and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford alongside colleagues from South Western Ambulance Service.
