AN EVESHAM man with a history of shoplifting offences has been handed a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).
The CBO bans Matthew Schramm, 43, of Christ Church Way, Evesham, from three stores in the town.
Schramm’s order, which runs for three years, was handed to him at Kidderminster Magistrates Court.
It prohibits him from entering the following shops –
- Waitrose, Merstow Green, Evesham
- Home Bargains, Sinclair Retail Park, Evesham
- Boots, Worcester Road Retail Park, Evesham
Safer Neighbourhood Inspector for Wychavon Dave Wise said: “We understand the impact shoplifting and acquisitive crime has on our local retailers and communities.
“What this result shows is that we will always pursue criminals and we will robustly apply for orders to manage and prevent any future offending to help make Wychavon safer.”
Anyone who sees Schramm entering these premises or committing an offence should report it to West Mercia Police here.
