PERSHORE’S popular choir is branching out to grace Evesham residents with its soulful voices.

Pershore Town Choir will bring its ‘Spring into Song’ concert, in collaboration with Avonbank Brass Band, to St Peter’s Church Bengeworth on Friday, April 19 at 7.30pm.

The choir is ‘thrilled’ to be holding its first concert in Evesham, supported by musical directors – David Barclay for the Town Choir and Colin Herbert for the Avonbank Band.

Jenny Newbury will be the accompanist.

David Barclay Said: “St Peter’s Church is ideal for our Concert, with plenty of space for choir, band and audience. We’re hoping for a great turnout for this our first concert in Evesham. I hope it will be the first of many.”

Tickets are availabel from The Almonry, Evesham and on the door.
