Appeal after Evesham hit and run left 73-year-old woman with 'life-threatening injuries'

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a hit and run in Evesham left a pensioner with ‘life-threatening injuries.’

The incident happened around 11.05am on Thursday, March 21, on Bridge Street near to Workman Bridge.

A 73-year-old woman who was crossing the road was struck by a Grey Ford Kuga which then failed to stop, and she was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Anyone who saw the collision happen or has dash-cam footage from around the time it happened should contact West Mercia Police.
