WORK on the Eckington Bridge is set to get underway with the bridge closed for 20 days while repairs take place.
The busy bridge, on the Pershore Road between Eckington and Defford, will be closed from today (Tuesday) for the work.
A diversion route has been signposted for motorists.
“Eckington Bridge will be fully closed to all traffic for 20 days starting on Tuesday for bridge parapet repair works,” said a Worcestershire Highways spokesperson
