RUNNERS are in for a treat as a hospice prepares to host a fund-raising challenge with a tasty twist.
The St Richard’s Hospice Cupcake Chase will take place in Norton, near Worcester, on Saturday (October 22)
Participants can choose between a professionally timed 5K or 10K route, with a cupcake and medal for everyone at the finish line.
Sofia Gunster, fund-raiser at St Richard’s, said: “Participants will enjoy a great route around Norton – and a mouth-watering cupcake and specially designed medal on finishing.
“Not only that, but the funds they raise will help us continue our care to patients and their loved ones. What could be sweeter?”
The event, sponsored by Pulse Events, begins at Norton Village Hall and the route takes in the surrounding areas. There will be prizes for the winners.
