UNIQUE work by a Worcestershire artist has reached national TV.
Wendy Stafford’s floral ‘sculptures’ in glass are on permanent display in the garden behind her cottage in Offenham.
Her work appeared in the Alan Titchmarsh ‘Love your Weekend’ programme on ITV on Sunday morning. Pictured with Alan is co-presenter Camilla Bassett-Smith.
“The love of glass came through moving into our thatched cottage”, said Wendy.
“The Grade II listed cottage has leaded windows, so I learned about stained glass. This led to investigating other forms of glass making, so I acquired a kiln – the art and the passion for creating fused glass was sparked.
“Driven by passion, support of my family and loved ones, my work is growing. My passion has never receded”.
