AN ANNUAL craft fair in aid of Birmingham Children’s Hospital raised a staggering £1,370.58 on a packed day of events
Cosy Hearts Crafts held the event at Leedons Park in Broadway and welcomed a collection of different crafters displaying their wares, including wood products, hand knitted toys, cosmetics, jewellery and Christmas cards.
Organiser Mandy Edwards said: “Although we are a little down on our total against pre-covid times, I am overwhelmed by the generosity of all those who contributed, including customers, my little helpers and local businesses who donated raffle prizes.
“Once again, the owners of the hall at Leedons Park, Childswickham, Allens Caravans, have stepped up to provide the facilities for a first-class event”
“We would like to thank everybody who came along to the event. Together with other fund-raising from craft events and the sale of pumpkins, Cosy Heart Crafts are on target to handover a cheque for more than £1,600 to the hospital in the new year.”
