AMATEUR theatre chiefs are on the lookout for aspiring actors to join the chorus for Evesham’s annual pantomime, Dick Whittngton.
Phoenix Theatre Group are busy getting things in place for the highlight of the new year ahead of rehearsals which kick off on Sunday (October 17) at Offenham Village Hall.
Director Mike Robinson and his team are putting the finishing touches to preparations, with all the main parts cast for the showpiece.
“We are still accepting anyone aged 11 and above who would like to take part in the chorus. There’s plenty of opportunities to sing, dance and act in the show,” he said.
“All anyone needs is enthusiasm and no previous experience is necessary. We believe in giving everyone the chance to perform and welcome anyone in the Vale to come along and join in the fun.”
Rehearsals will run from 2pm to 5.30pm each Sunday and the pantomime will run from January 19 to 23 at the Henrician Theatre on Victoria Avenue.
