A CARING Pershore mum has been left ‘overwhelmed’ by the kindness of local people after bidding to help her son become James Bond.
Jane Keen launched her bid to ask local Aston Martin owners to spare 30 minutes in order to help her son Jonty enjoy the classic 007 experience.
Owing to health conditions, Jonty will be unable to drive so caring Jane hoped a caring petrolhead would be able to make his dreams come true.
“I know it’s a long shot but I thought I’d try and he’s probably going to kill me for the post,” she admitted.
Within moments of the post, she was inundated with offers from the local area and further afield including one from an exhibitor at yesterday’s Hampton Car Show in Evesham.
The owner has now made contact with Jane and Jonty’s dreams of a spin in an iconic Aston Martin look set to be realised in the near future.
