SIGHT Concern Worcestershire has launched new services to help people with sight loss/visual impairment beat loneliness.
The charity has created a new Facebook page for its users and carers to have a safe space to discuss their issues and needs.
They will be able to find information and seek advice from sight loss advisers on how to cope with life’s daily challenges.
A Sight Concern spokesperson said: “We hope this space will lead to people who are otherwise disconnected to come together and support each other.

The charity is also delivering monthly exercise classes over Zoom to boost users’ health and wellbeing.
These sessions, on the second Thursday of every month at 10am, are free to join.
Inspirational and distinguished guests will also hold talks over the platform.
Last week the online group met a dementia champion and in February there will be a talk from ‘The Blind Poet’ Dave Steel.
In March the group will meet Dee Jones from Sense Adventures in Malvern,
She will talk about her enterprise and how it provides people living with sight loss an opportunity to experience new and exciting things.
