HEALTH chiefs have revealed Evesham’s Minor Injuries Unit on Waterside will be closed until tomorrow (Sunday).
Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust blamed the closure on ‘staffing pressures’ within local community hospitals and is necessary so we can safely support patients on our wards.
MIUs are for minor injuries such as sprains, strains, small cuts and burns and are not for emergency or life threatening conditions.
