ARTS chiefs at Pershore Number 8 have begun to welcome back patrons following the end of the second national lockdown.
Coffee bar and gallery customers were among the first to return to the High Street venue while Number 8’s charity shop Just After 8 also reopened this week after over eight months of closure.
Box Office volunteers are now busy at Number 8 taking bookings for screenings and events which restart from Friday (December 11).
The centre is operating with a variety of measures in place to welcome customers back safely. Social distancing is in operation throughout the venue and in line with new government guidelines, while Worcestershire remains in tier two, different households will be seated separately in the coffee bar and in the auditorium.
The programme for December through until late January includes a number of rescheduled screenings and events, cancelled due to the lockdown, along with a host of new programme additions.
Emma Bangham, programme manager at Number 8 said: “We are so pleased to have been able to reopen and bring some uplifting entertainment to Pershore.
“In times like these an afternoon or evening out enjoying a film or panto, sharing laughter, or being transported into the magical world of a ballet is a great way to lift the spirits.”
