THEATRE chiefs at Pershore Number 8 Community Arts Centre are celebrating after the town’s arts venue opened its doors for the first time after the Coronavirus lockdown.
Number 8 reopened its doors on Tuesday (September 1) following months of temporary closure due to lockdown measures.
The centre’s coffee bar and gallery is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 1pm and a programme of film and event cinema screenings will return from Thursday, September 17.
Emma Bangham, programme manager at Number 8 said: “We’re really excited to finally be open again, it’s great to see our customers and our team of volunteers.
“The last few months has been a difficult time for everyone but we’re thrilled to be back and are looking forward to reopening our auditorium for screenings very soon.”
