Cyclists urged to be vigilant after Vicar's bicycle stolen

Evesham Editorial 27th Aug, 2020   0

AN APPEAL for help has been launched after the Vicar of Pershore had her bicycle stolen this morning (Thursday) from the vicarage.

Rev Claire Lording discovered the theft at her home on Three Springs Road and cyclists in the town have been warned to be aware of the situation.

Rev Lording cycles whenever possible around the town in a effort to help the environment and church chiefs said she would be lost without her bicycle.

After receiving a number of offers, she has now been loaned a bicycle to allow her to continue her daily duties.

Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call the police on 101.
