EIGHT Pershore residents have got their week off to a winning start and scooped a cash prize of £1,000 each, all thanks to their postcode.
The Dowling Drive neighbours netted the windfall when WR10 3EF was announced as a People’s Postcode Lottery winner this morning (Monday).
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £500million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
Lots of local good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support. The next opportunity for local charities to apply for funding raised by players will be in August.
