YOUNGSTERS and staff at The Littletons CE First School are celebrating after receiving the thumbs up from Government inspectors.
The village school was judged ‘good’ by Ofsted following an inspection in January and was praised for the fact pupils ‘thrive’ at the school while the report noted headteacher Helen Brambani’s calm and supportive approach made everyone feel welcome.
Teachers were praised for their work in reading, writing and maths while the good behaviour of pupils was also singled out in the report to parents.
Inspectors also praised the lessons which went beyond the curriculum such as the fund-raising efforts by youngsters and their drive to reduce plastic use in school and at home
“It is a privilege to work at this fantastic village school where everyone is dedicated to achieving the very best for our children. We are delighted with the outcome of this glowing report,” Mrs Brambani said.
