Musical tribute to an iconic duo

Evesham Editorial 5th Feb, 2020   0

A TRIBUTE to the music of iconic duo Simon and Garfunkel will take to the stage at Evesham Arts Centre next month.

The Sounds of Simon pay homage to the hits of singer-songwriter Paul Simon and singer Art Garfunkel, one of the best-selling music groups of the 1960s.

Music lovers can lose themselves to nostalgia as the full band play such classics Mrs Robinson, The Boxer, The Sounds of Silence and You Can Call Me Al – and the many others that established Paul Simon as one of the most successful songwriters of all time.

Paul and Art are played to perfection, bringing in elements of their famously fractious relationship, as well as replicating the beautiful harmonies flawlessly in show filled with excellent music, nostalgia, and a genuine love for some great musicians.

The Sounds of Simon appear in Evesham on Friday, March 27.
