A WHITE town taxi was damaged in the early hours of Saturday morning, police have revealed.
The offender, known to police, went up to the white Mercedes taxi and kicked the car door while the taxi was parked on Bridge Street at about 3am.
A dent under the passenger side handle is the damage as a result of the vandalism.
