PERSHORE’s MP Harriett Baldwin was on hand to take a look at the £10,000 revamp of the squash and racketball courts at a popular town venue.
The refurbishment kicked off a period of celebration for Pershore Sports Club which will soon celebrate a landmark anniversary.
Pershore Sports Club started almost 150 years ago as a popular cricket club and is now home to the thriving hockey, skittles, darts and pool clubs.
“Generations of Pershore people have enjoyed sports and leisure time there and I hope the club continues in this style for many years to come,” Mrs Baldwin said.
