EVESHAM’S MP Nigel Huddleston has delivered a rallying call for residents to ensure the town’s jewel in the crown wins the award for Best Park of the Year 2019.
The Fields in Trust UK charity supports more than 2,800 green spaces across Britain and is looking for people to participate in their Summer of Parks campaign by voting for their favourite park.
“I am delighted Abbey Park has deservedly been nominated for a Best Park Award. It is a wonderful green space, an area that is enjoyed by people of all ages and a truly picture-perfect setting,” he said.”
“I would encourage everyone to give Abbey Park their support to ensure this beautiful location receives the recognition it deserves.”
