EXPLORER Scouts from Evesham’s Great Bear Unit came first in the Venture class at the 35th annual ‘Trek’, a scout challenge hike organised by Redditch Scout District.
Starting from Inkberrow, teams of scouts, explorers and leaders work out their own route by connecting grid references supplied prior to the hike.
Scouting skills are tested at each activity base and awarded with points.
Team ‘Great Bear’ brought home the trophy for the second year running.
