ALL the knockout events in this year’s 40th anniversary Wychavon Parish Games are now reaching the final stages.
The crib final will be between Harvington and Bretforton on Tuesday, November 6 at Broadway Bowling Club, whilst the final of the ladies’ darts will be contested by Broadway and Hill & Moor.
The semi-finals of the men’s darts were taking place this week between Sedgeberrow and Honeybourne and Evesham Bengeworth and Bretforton.
The final of the dominoes features Broadway and Badsey at Bretforton Sports & Social Club on Monday, October 29 and the pool final will be on Thursday, November 1.
Last Friday, the second semi-final of the skittles was an exciting encounter as the lead changed hands at the end of each of the first three legs.
After that, Evesham Bengeworth pulled ahead and, although Bretforton reduced their arrears a little, it was Evesham Bengeworth who won through.
