CHILDREN from Swan Lane School in Evesham took part in their own mock wedding at All Saints’ Church.
The event was aimed at teaching the youngsters about the Christian wedding ceremony by giving them first-hand experience.
All the children had a role to play in the day in order to deepen their understanding.
Afterwards they listened to wedding speeches, enjoyed a delicious wedding breakfast and watched the couple’s first dance.
Headteacher Ruth Roberts said: “The staff worked really hard to provide the children with an experience that enhanced the learning that had been taking place in the classroom over the last few weeks.”
