YOUNGSTERS are being sought to take the chance of a lifetime and become this year’s Plum Princess ahead of the Pershore’s iconic Plum Festival later this summer.
One of the first duties the lucky girl and her attendants will carry out is to attend the Plum Festival evening race meeting at Worcester racecourse which this year celebrating its 300th anniversary, so most definitely a most prestigious and impressive event to start a memorable plum year.
Girls aged between eight and 11-years-old are being sought for the role.
The 2018 Plum Princess and her attendants will be crowned at the Plum Blossom Sunday event to be held at The Angel Hotel on Sunday, July 8.
