EVESHAM dropped a place to seventh in Midlands Two West (South) as a result of Saturday’s 36-14 defeat at third-placed Kenilworth where the margin of defeat was harsh on the visitors.
The Avonsiders, who were 36-0 home winners over the same opposition in mid-January, were met by a stubborn Kenilworth defence, whilst at the other end the home side were clinical in a hard-fought game.
Evesham play their last home game of the campaign against Leamington on Saturday when victory will lift them above their visitors.
However, the final two matches could not be any harder as trips to promoted Malvern and Droitwich await.
