MORE THAN 800 visitors attended the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Spring Business Expo.

The Expo, at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern, featured more than 120 exhibitors from businesses of all sectors and sizes with a networking breakfast, networking zone, food and drink producers zone and free seminars.

A range of exhibitor stands included Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, Worcestershire Business Central and Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce.

Mark Wright, the winner of BBC’s The Apprentice series ten, provided an insight into building a strong digital marketing strategy and there was an opportunity to meet the fund managers from the Midlands Engine Investment Fund.

Coun Ken Pollock, Cabinet Member Responsible for Economy and Infrastructure, attended the event.

He said: “The Chamber Business Expo is a great opportunity for people to meet potential customers and suppliers, and network with existing contacts.

“Vibrant, well-attended events such as the Chamber Business Expo prove how determined Worcestershire is to remain Open for Business.

“With one of the fastest growing local economies in the country, Worcestershire has a lot to offer existing companies, and new businesses looking to invest in the county.”
