Fund-raiser being held at Valkyrie to thank neo-natal unit staff

A CARING Evesham family are hoping to give something back to the hospital which cared for their twins who were born almost three months premature.

Jade Harding and her partner Liam Burtenshaw welcomed premature twins Maggie and Violet into their family earlier this year.

The girls were born at 29 weeks into Jade’s pregnancy and spent 81 days at the Worcestershire Royal’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

And now the girls are home and developing well, the caring Evesham couple hope to thank staff with a host of fund-raising events .




The latest is a festive family fun day at the Valkyrie Bar on Market Place today (Saturday) from 10am to 5pm.

A host of events will take place on the day including a raffle with cash prizes, a hamper and vouchers and a mega tombola with hundreds of prizes, a sweet stall and cake stall.


Raffle prizes include a luxury hamper donated by the Sweet Potato Spirit Company,  a super car driving experience voucher and cash prizes as well as vouchers for a host of Evesham businesses include Hampton Chippy.
