A PERSHORE woman was served up a treat when she won the chance to meet, dine with and watch the UK’s number one tennis star Andy Murray in action.

Lorna Brookes, a personal trainer from the town, was rewarded the rare opportunity to attend a question and answer session and lunch with both Andy Murray and Roger Federer in Glasgow as part of Andy Murray Live, by energy provider SSE’s reward scheme.

After personally meeting the stars and receiving a signed tennis racket, Lorna took her seat at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro and enjoyed the on-court action.

The 43-year-old said: “I was absolutely thrilled to be awarded this prize. I’m pleased to have won because I’m a big fan of tennis and I love Andy and Roger.

“I’ve always wanted to watch a professional tennis match, and I’m really interested in sports coaching and development. It was such a special day.”
