MARGARET ROBERTS topped a 16-strong field in the Evesham Golf Club Senior Ladies Championship with 20 points.
Runner-up with 16 points in the nine-hole competition was Gillian Spencer. The trophy was presented by Audrey Piddington, a past captain of Evesham Golf Club who had travelled from Bristol for the lunch and presentation.
It was a delight to see Audrey and her husband Ken on what was a very special and enjoyable occasion.
