AN EVESHAM mum has hailed the ‘priceless’ moment her cricket loving three-year-old daughter got to hold the Women’s Cricket World Cup trophy.

Emma Harris, her husband Gavin, sons Oli and Dylan and daughter Charlotte were at Lord’s to witness England winning the tournament for the fourth time after beating India.

After their dramatic victory by nine runs, bowler Katherine Brunt began parading the trophy to give eager fans the chance to see it.

Proud mum Emma described how her son Oli said it would be ‘pretty cool’ to high five the victorious ladies and how her children joined others to wave at team.

“What happened next made what was already an amazing day even more memorable and priceless.

“Anya Shrubsole saw the kids and came over for a high five and if that wasn’t enough Katherine Brunt came over with the cup in hand and asked Charlotte if she wanted to hold it.

“I was already emotional at being with my daughter as England won the World Cup, but this just finished me off.”

“Through tears I watched her hold the trophy and since we have been home it’s all she had talked about.”
