MEMBERS of the Evesham Troop from the Hereford and Worcester Army Cadets raised more than £1,100 for Help for Heroes.
The cadets raised the impressive sum of the money last weekend at the Wartime in the Vale event on Ashdown Farm, near Badsey.
Help for Heroes will use the donation to continue providing support for serving and reservist army personnel and veterans who have suffered injuries or illness as a result of their service.
Ian Baldry, Worcestershire County Coordinator, said: “Once again we are most grateful to the Show Organiser Amy Jelfs and the Land Camp Manager Emma James for kindly inviting us to as one of their chosen charities.
“I would like to extend a very special thanks to Simon Miller along with the other adult leaders and cadets from Hereford and Worcester for their sterling support in helping us raise this very respectable sum of money. Without their support we just wouldn’t have achieved this sum of money.”
