A TRIBUTE to two of America’s greatest ever music talents will be rolling back the years at Evesham Arts Centre as part of a major UK tour.

The critically acclaimed Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly Show will perform their ‘Will Rock n Roll ever Die? That’ll be the Day!’ extravaganza on Sunday, July 9.

Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly both grew up in the same part of Texas, recorded early work in the same studio in New Mexico and even at one point recorded the same songs!

Orbison went on to write an array of great hits including ‘Only the Lonely’ and ‘Crying’, whilst Holly’s short career earned him 13th place in Rolling Stone’s ‘100 Greatest Artists of all Time’.

Darren Paige and Marc Robinson have made careers dedicated to Orbison and Holly, with the duo having performed all over the UK and across the world.

Being backed by the ‘Counterfeit Crickets’, this uplifting two-hour show will entertain you with all the classic hits.

The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £18 for adults and £17 for concessions, members and groups of ten or more.
