PERSHORE Swimming Club’s Hamish Cross made an impressive debut at the Scottish National Age Group Championships in Aberdeen.
Swimming for the first time at this level, Cross achieved some excellent personal best times in the 50m breaststroke (34.50secs), 50m fly (29.93secs) and 100m breaststroke (1.20.9mins).
The 13-year-old, who attends Bredon Hill Academy, is also on the Worcester Warriors Developing Player Programme and combines swimming with rugby.
These times bode well for the Midlands Regional Championships at the end of the month.
