A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after she was hit by a car on Evesham’s High Street this afternoon (Tuesday).
One ambulance from West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the scene at about 3.59pm after reports the pedestrian, believed to be in her 20s, was struck by a grey Vauxhall Corsa.
She suffered from leg injuries and has been taken to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch for further treatment.
West Mercia Police, who also attended, confirmed the road re-opened at about 4.50pm.
