PERSHORE Ladies are targeting a title challenge next season after a promising 2016/17 campaign which has ended with a third placed finish in Worcestershire League Division One.
Victory in Saturday’s final fixture of the season at Tenbury will ensure Pershore finish just three points behind runners-up Stourport 3rds.
Saturday’s 5-0 win at Harborne 3rds was further evidence of the progress made this season by a Pershore team led by Emily Capaldi.
Rosie Hickey was named Coach’s Player and Players’ Player of the Season.
