POWER has been restored to more than 700 homes in Evesham following a ‘high voltage fault.’

Western Power Distribution has now confirmed electricity was restored to the 768 homes at about 11.30am this morning (Thursday).

Homes in the WR11 7, WR12 7, WR11 1, WR11 5, WR11 6 and WR11 4 areas were all affected.

The power cut was caused by a ‘high voltage fault’ according to Western Power Distribution.

A spokesperson for Western Power Distribution said: “All supplies are now back on. Apologies for any inconvenience.”
